Small Publisher Contest : Lock’n Load Publishing

A new month, a new small publisher contest. This month, we’re highlighting our first wargame publisher Lock’n Load Publishing who, through their Lock’n Load squad level tactical game system have won numerous awards. This month, we’re giving away a copy of Band of Heroes (2nd Edition); shipped anywhere in Canada for free for the contest winner. If the contest winner is outside of Canada, an equivalent amount reduction in cost of shipping will be provided.

In addition, as always, if the contest winner has purchased the games before from us; we will substitute a coupon of equivalent product value.

For the contest, we’d like you to suggest the next modern battle that needs to have a scenario written for it using the Lock’n Load system.

Well, we’re finally starting up the next small publisher contest.  It’s now time for the next contest and we’re highlighting Your Move Games who have donated a copy of Battle for Hill 218 and Battleground : Punic Wars shipped to anywhere in Canada. If contestant winner is outside of Canada, equivalent amount reduction in cost of shipping will be provided.

If the contest winner has purchased the games before; we will substitute a coupon of equivalent product value.

For the contest, we’d like you to suggest the best new battleground for their next expansion in their series.

Small Publisher Contest : DriftWood Games

Well, the MaxVeld Games contest has completed and this month, we’re introducing Drtiftwood Games, the publisher of Arctic Scavengers.

A deck building card game, Arctic Scavengers has palyers in a dystopian future struggling for survival.  You’ll need to grow your tribe as fast as possible with numerous tools, tribe members and medical kits required to successfully battle and win the resources in play.  A deck building card game with great interaction, Arctic Scavengers is a solid first game that has an expansion already in the works.

For the contest, we’d like you to suggest the best new tribe member that needs to be added to the game, his abilities and what the tribe member would add to the game.  The winner will be announced in the September newsletter.

Small Publisher Contest : MaxVeld Games Ltd.

Well, the second small publisher contest has finished, and we’ll be announcing the winner in our next newsletter.  For this month, we’ve decided to promote MaxVeld Games, the publisher of God Dice.

A fantasy dice game, God Dice has had some great buzz for it’s interesting mechanics and fast gameplay system.  For the contest, we’d like you to suggest the best new hero to be added to the game and the reasons why.  The winner will be announced in the August newsletter.

I’m looking forward to reading these submissions – the one’s we’ve had so far for the other two contests have certainly impressed me.
